नई दिल्ली: जापान के पूर्व न्याय मंत्री हिदेकी माकिहारा की मुंबई-अहमदाबाद बुलेट ट्रेन प्रोजेक्ट के बारे में टिप्पणियों के बाद, भारत ने स्पष्ट किया है कि इस महत्वाकांक्षी प्रोजेक्ट पर दोनों देशों के बीच सहयोग सही दिशा में आगे बढ़ रहा है। विदेश मंत्रालय ने कहा कि जापान के पूर्व मंत्री की टिप्पणियां उनकी निजी राय हैं और असल तथ्यों से मेल नहीं खातीं। मंत्रालय के अनुसार, निर्माण कार्य तेजी से चल रहा है और 2027 तक पहले चरण का काम शुरू करने का लक्ष्य बदला नहीं है। हिदेकी माकिहारा, जो पहले जापान के अर्थव्यवस्था, व्यापार और उद्योग राज्य मंत्री के तौर पर इस प्रोजेक्ट से जुड़े थे, ने 15 जुलाई को सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में दावा किया कि भारत की "बहुत ज़्यादा लापरवाही" के कारण प्रोजेक्ट में देरी हुई है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि भारतीय पक्ष बातचीत के दौरान किए गए कई वादों को पूरा करने में नाकाम रहा। इस बयान से प्रोजेक्ट को लेकर नई बहस छिड़ गई। विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रणधीर जायसवाल ने शुक्रवार को इन आरोपों का कड़ा खंडन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत और जापान के बीच मुंबई-अहमदाबाद हाई-स्पीड रेल प्रोजेक्ट पर लगातार और सकारात्मक प्रगति हो रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि जापान की नई **E20 शिंकानसेन** ट्रेन अभी डेवलपमेंट स्टेज में है और 2030 के दशक की शुरुआत से पहले इसके उपलब्ध होने की संभावना कम है। इसलिए, दोनों देशों ने आपसी सहमति से भारत में हाई-स्पीड ट्रेनों का इस्तेमाल करके प्रोजेक्ट के पहले चरण का काम शुरू करने का फैसला किया है। भारत सरकार का मानना है कि मुंबई-अहमदाबाद बुलेट ट्रेन प्रोजेक्ट भारत-जापान रणनीतिक साझेदारी का एक अहम प्रतीक है। सरकार के अनुसार, निर्माण कार्य में तेज़ी लाई गई है और प्रोजेक्ट को तय समय सीमा के भीतर पूरा करने के लिए दोनों देशों के बीच तालमेल बिना किसी रुकावट के जारी है।

New Delhi: Following remarks by former Japanese Justice Minister Hideki Makihara regarding the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, India has clarified that cooperation between the two nations on this ambitious project remains firmly on track. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the former Japanese minister's comments reflect his personal opinion and do not align with the actual facts. According to the Ministry, construction work is progressing rapidly, and the target to commence operations for the first phase by 2027 remains unchanged. Hideki Makihara, who was previously associated with the project as Japan's State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, claimed in a social media post on July 15 that the project had been delayed due to India's "extreme negligence." He alleged that the Indian side failed to honor several commitments made during negotiations. This statement sparked a fresh round of discussion regarding the project. Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal issued a strong rebuttal to these allegations on Friday. He stated that there is consistent, positive progress on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail project between India and Japan. He explained that Japan's new **E20 Shinkansen** train is currently in the development stage and is unlikely to be available before the early 2030s. Consequently, both nations have mutually decided to launch operations for the project's first phase using high-speed trains in India. The Government of India maintains that the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project is a significant symbol of the India-Japan strategic partnership. According to the government, construction has been accelerated, and coordination between the two countries continues seamlessly to ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
