विश्व चॉकलेट डे पर रोटरी क्लब ने 400 से अधिक बच्चों के चेहरों पर बिखेरी मुस्कान..

विश्व चॉकलेट डे के अवसर पर रोटरी क्लब पाँवटा साहिब ने सेवा और संवेदनशीलता की मिसाल पेश करते हुए 400 से अधिक स्कूली एवं जरूरतमंद बच्चों के साथ यह दिन खास अंदाज में मनाया। क्लब ने शहर के दो अलग-अलग स्थानों पर चॉकलेट वितरित कर बच्चों के चेहरों पर खुशियों की मिठास घोल दी। अभियान के पहले चरण में सुबह किशनपुरा स्थित दुनीचंद मेमोरियल पब्लिक स्कूल में लगभग 250 छात्र-छात्राओं को चॉकलेट वितरित की गई। अचानक मिले इस उपहार से बच्चों के चेहरे खुशी से खिल उठे। इस दौरान रोटेरियन सुनीता शर्मा, रोटेरियन राकेश गर्ग, रोटेरियन गौरव खापरा तथा क्लब अध्यक्ष रोटेरियन यशपाल धीमान उपस्थित रहे और बच्चों के साथ इस विशेष अवसर को यादगार बनाया। इसके बाद शाम को क्लब की टीम राम मंदिर और विश्वकर्मा मंदिर के समीप झुग्गी-झोपड़ियों में रहने वाले वंचित वर्ग के 150 से अधिक बच्चों तक पहुंची। सदस्यों ने बच्चों को चॉकलेट वितरित कर यह संदेश दिया कि समाज की खुशियों में हर बच्चे की समान भागीदारी होनी चाहिए। इस सेवा परियोजना का सफल संचालन प्रोजेक्ट चेयरमैन रोटेरियन अभय शर्मा और को-चेयरमैन प्रशांत आर्य के नेतृत्व में किया गया। कार्यक्रम में रोटेरियन शांति स्वरूप गुप्ता, रोटेरियन सुनीता शर्मा, रोटेरियन राकेश गर्ग, रोटेरियन गौरव खापरा सहित क्लब के अनेक सदस्यों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाई।रोटरी क्लब ने कहा कि समाज सेवा केवल बड़े कार्यों तक सीमित नहीं होती, बल्कि बच्चों के चेहरे पर मुस्कान लाने जैसा छोटा प्रयास भी समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव का माध्यम बन सकता है।

On the occasion of World Chocolate Day, the Rotary Club of Paonta Sahib set an example of service and compassion by celebrating the day in a special way with more than 400 school-going and underprivileged children. The club spread the sweetness of joy among the children by distributing chocolates at two different locations in the city. In the first phase of the campaign, chocolates were distributed to approximately 250 students at Duni Chand Memorial Public School in Kishanpura during the morning. The children's faces lit up with happiness upon receiving this surprise gift. Rotarians Sunita Sharma, Rakesh Garg, and Gaurav Khapra, along with Club President Yashpal Dhiman, were present and helped make this special occasion memorable for the children. Later in the evening, the club's team reached out to over 150 children from underprivileged backgrounds living in the slums near Ram Mandir and Vishwakarma Mandir. By distributing chocolates, the members conveyed the message that every child should share equally in the joys of society. This service project was successfully executed under the leadership of Project Chairman Abhay Sharma and Co-Chairman Prashant Arya. Many club members, including Shanti Swaroop Gupta, Sunita Sharma, Rakesh Garg, and Gaurav Khapra, actively participated in the event. The Rotary Club stated that social service is not limited to grand gestures; even a small effort—like bringing a smile to a child's face—can become a medium for positive change in society.
