राजकीय महाविद्यालय हरिपुरधार में शैक्षणिक सत्र के तहत बी.ए. प्रथम सेमेस्टर के नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों के लिए एक प्रेरणादायी ओरिएंटेशन एवं इंडक्शन सत्र का गरिमापूर्ण आयोजन किया गया। इस विशेष कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य नवआगंतुक विद्यार्थियों को महाविद्यालय के समृद्ध शैक्षणिक वातावरण, कड़े अनुशासन, उपलब्ध सुविधाओं तथा वर्ष भर आयोजित होने वाली विभिन्न गतिविधियों से भली-भांति परिचित करवाना था, ताकि उनमें उच्च शिक्षा के प्रति आत्मविश्वास का संचार हो सके। कार्यक्रम का औपचारिक शुभारंभ करते हुए डॉ. पूर्वशी ने सभी नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों का संस्थान में हार्दिक स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन किया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को स्कूली जीवन से कॉलेज जीवन के इस महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव और इसके महत्व से गहराई से अवगत कराया। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने छात्रों को सदैव सकारात्मक सोच रखने, नियमित रूप से अध्ययन करने, आत्मअनुशासन को जीवन में उतारने एवं अपने निर्धारित लक्ष्यों के प्रति पूरी तरह समर्पित रहने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इसके पश्चात, डॉ. राजिंदर तोमर ने महाविद्यालय के सभी प्राध्यापकों एवं गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारियों का परिचय विद्यार्थियों से करवाया। उन्होंने कॉलेज की आंतरिक व्यवस्था की विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए विभिन्न विभागों, समृद्ध पुस्तकालय, राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (एनएसएस), रेड रिबन क्लब, ईको क्लब, खेलकूद, सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों तथा अन्य छात्र कल्याणकारी समितियों एवं परिसर में उपलब्ध विभिन्न छात्र-उपयोगी सुविधाओं के बारे में विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला।
इस विशेष अवसर पर महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. ए. वी. निधि ने अपने अत्यंत प्रेरणादायी और ओजस्वी संबोधन में विद्यार्थियों को जीवन में अनुशासन, नियमित उपस्थिति, समयपालन, नैतिक मूल्यों तथा गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा के महत्व पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों का आह्वान किया कि वे स्वयं को केवल पारंपरिक शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों तक ही सीमित न रखें, बल्कि महाविद्यालय द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली सह-पाठ्यक्रम (Co-curricular) एवं सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों में भी बढ़-चढ़कर सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाएं, जिससे उनका सर्वांगीण विकास (Holistic Development) सुनिश्चित हो सके। कार्यक्रम के अंतिम चरण में एक संवाद सत्र का भी आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें विद्यार्थियों की विभिन्न शंकाओं और जिज्ञासाओं का प्राध्यापकों द्वारा मौके पर ही अत्यंत संतोषजनक समाधान किया गया। साथ ही उन्हें महाविद्यालय की विभिन्न आंतरिक शैक्षणिक प्रक्रियाओं की व्यावहारिक जानकारी दी गई। यह पूरा ओरिएंटेशन सत्र अत्यंत उत्साहपूर्ण, ऊर्जावान और सकारात्मक वातावरण में संपन्न हुआ। नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों ने इस ज्ञानवर्धक सत्र की भूरि-भूरि सराहना की और इसे अपने कॉलेज जीवन की एक बेहद सफल व सकारात्मक शुरुआत के रूप में रेखांकित किया।

A dignified and inspiring orientation and induction session was organized at Government College, Haripuradhar, for students newly admitted to the B.A. first-semester program. The primary objective of this special event was to familiarize the newcomers with the college's rich academic environment, strict discipline, available facilities, and the various activities conducted throughout the year, thereby instilling in them confidence regarding higher education. Formally inaugurating the program, Dr. Purvashi extended a warm welcome to all the newly admitted students. She provided them with deep insight into the significant transition from school life to college life and its importance. In her address, she motivated the students to maintain a positive mindset, study regularly, practice self-discipline, and remain fully dedicated to their set goals. Subsequently, Dr. Rajinder Tomar introduced the college's faculty and non-teaching staff to the students. Providing detailed information about the college's internal functioning, he elaborated on various departments, the well-stocked library, the National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Ribbon Club, Eco Club, sports, cultural activities, student welfare committees, and other student-friendly facilities available on the campus.
On this special occasion, the College Principal, Dr. A.V. Nidhi, delivered a highly inspiring and spirited address, emphasizing the importance of discipline, regular attendance, punctuality, moral values, and quality education in life. He urged the students not to limit themselves to traditional academic activities but to actively participate in the co-curricular and cultural events organized by the college, ensuring their holistic development. In the final phase of the program, an interactive session was held where faculty members provided satisfactory, on-the-spot clarifications to the students' various queries and doubts. Additionally, they were provided with practical information regarding the college's various internal academic processes. The entire orientation session concluded in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, energy, and positivity. The newly admitted students highly appreciated this enlightening session and hailed it as a remarkably successful and positive start to their college life.
