जिला सिरमौर के औद्योगिक शहर पांवटा साहिब में बदहाल सड़कें अब लोगों के लिए बड़ी मुसीबत बनती जा रही हैं। लगातार हो रही बारिश के बीच जगह-जगह बने गहरे गड्ढों ने यातायात को जोखिम भरा बना दिया है, जिससे वाहन चालकों, विशेषकर दोपहिया सवारों को रोजाना परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। सड़कों की जर्जर स्थिति को लेकर स्थानीय लोगों में लंबे समय से नाराजगी बनी हुई है और अब यह असंतोष विरोध-प्रदर्शन के रूप में सामने आने लगा है। इसी कड़ी में एंटी करप्शन एंड क्राइम प्रिवेंशन संगठन के नेशनल डायरेक्टर मुकेश रमौल अपनी टीम के साथ रामपुर घाट सड़क मार्ग पर सांकेतिक धरना-प्रदर्शन करने पहुंचे और लोक निर्माण विभाग मंत्री विक्रमादित्य और विभाग के अधिकारियों को जम कर खरी खोटी सुनाई। उन्होंने कहा कि पांवटा साहिब में जगह जगह सड़कों पर बड़े गड्ढों में तब्दील हो चुकी है। लगातार हो रही बारिश के कारण इन गड्ढों में पानी भर गया है, जिससे उनकी गहराई का अंदाजा लगाना मुश्किल हो गया है। इन्हें भरने के लिए विभाग द्वारा मात्र खानापूर्ति की जा रही है और गढ़ों में मिट्टी भरी जा रही है। इससे सबसे अधिक खतरा दोपहिया वाहन चालकों को उठाना पड़ रहा है और आए दिन लोग दुर्घटनाओं का शिकार हो रहे हैं जिससे आम लोगों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि शीघ्र कार्रवाई नहीं हुई तो एंटी करप्शन एंड क्राइम प्रिवेंशन संगठन इस मुद्दे को लेकर अपना आंदोलन और तेज करेगा, जिसकी पूरी जिम्मेदारी प्रशासन की होगी।

In the industrial town of Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur district, the dilapidated condition of roads is becoming a major problem for residents. Amidst continuous rainfall, deep potholes scattered across the roads have made commuting hazardous, causing daily difficulties for motorists—especially two-wheeler riders. Local residents have long harbored resentment over the crumbling state of the roads, and this discontent is now manifesting as protests. As part of this, Mukesh Ramaul, National Director of the Anti-Corruption and Crime Prevention Organization, arrived with his team at the Rampur Ghat road to stage a symbolic protest; he sharply criticized Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya and departmental officials. He pointed out that roads across Paonta Sahib have developed massive potholes. Continuous rain has filled these pits with water, making it impossible to gauge their depth. He alleged that the department is merely going through the motions by filling the potholes with loose soil. This poses the greatest risk to two-wheeler riders, leading to frequent accidents and causing immense hardship to the general public. He warned that if immediate action is not taken, the Anti-Corruption and Crime Prevention Organization will intensify its agitation, with the administration bearing full responsibility for the consequences.
