हिमाचल में बारिश से 110 सड़कें बंद, 91 ट्रांसफार्मर ठप; 217 पेयजल योजनाएं प्रभावित

हिमाचल प्रदेश में मानसून की बारिश से जनजीवन लगातार प्रभावित हो रहा है। राज्य आपातकालीन संचालन केंद्र की 17 अगस्त सुबह 10 बजे की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार प्रदेश में 110 सड़कें बंद हैं, जबकि 91 बिजली ट्रांसफार्मर और 217 पेयजल योजनाएं प्रभावित हुई हैं। मंडी में सबसे ज्यादा 39 और कुल्लू में 33 सड़कें बंद हैं। बारिश से मंडी, कुल्लू, चंबा और शिमला समेत कई जिलों में सड़क संपर्क प्रभावित हुआ है। मंडी में सराज की 25 समेत कुल 39 सड़कें बंद हैं। कुल्लू में 33, चंबा में 12 और शिमला में नौ सड़कें प्रभावित हैं। इसके अलावा सिरमौर, कांगड़ा, ऊना और लाहौल-स्पीति में भी कई सड़कें बंद बताई गई हैं।
बारिश का असर बिजली और पेयजल व्यवस्था पर भी पड़ा है। प्रदेश में 91 बिजली ट्रांसफार्मर बाधित हैं, जिनमें सिरमौर में 41, मंडी में 28 और शिमला में 22 ट्रांसफार्मर शामिल हैं। वहीं 217 पेयजल योजनाएं भी प्रभावित हुई हैं। इससे कई क्षेत्रों में लोगों को परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। मानसून सीजन में अब तक प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के कारण 79 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है, जबकि सड़क हादसों में 108 लोगों की जान गई है। सरकारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक 30 जून से 16 अगस्त तक प्रदेश में बारिश और अन्य मानसूनी घटनाओं से 973.16 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का नुकसान दर्ज किया गया है। प्रशासन के सामने बंद सड़कों को बहाल करने के साथ बिजली और पेयजल सेवाओं को जल्द सामान्य करने की चुनौती बनी हुई है।

According to a report by the State Emergency Operation Centre (as of 10:00 AM on August 17), 110 roads across the state are closed, while 91 electricity transformers and 217 drinking water schemes have been affected. Mandi has the highest number of closures with 39 roads, followed by Kullu with 33. Road connectivity has been impacted in several districts, including Mandi, Kullu, Chamba, and Shimla. In Mandi, a total of 39 roads are closed, including 25 in the Seraj area. Additionally, 33 roads in Kullu, 12 in Chamba, and nine in Shimla are affected. Road closures have also been reported in Sirmaur, Kangra, Una, and Lahaul-Spiti.
The rainfall has also impacted electricity and drinking water supplies. A total of 91 electricity transformers are disrupted, comprising 41 in Sirmaur, 28 in Mandi, and 22 in Shimla. Meanwhile, 217 drinking water schemes have been affected, causing hardship for residents in several areas. So far this monsoon season, 79 people have lost their lives due to natural disasters, while 108 have died in road accidents. Government data indicates that losses exceeding ₹973.16 crore have been recorded between June 30 and August 16 due to rain and other monsoon-related incidents. The administration faces the challenge of restoring closed roads and quickly normalizing electricity and drinking water services.
