हिमाचल प्रदेश में 17 अगस्त को बंद रहेंगे स्कूल, CM सुक्खू ने आखिर क्यों किया ये ऐलान, जानें

शिमला: हिमाचल प्रदेश के सरकारी स्कूलों में 17 अगस्त को अवकाश रहेगा। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने 14 अगस्त को बिलासपुर के घुमारवीं विधानसभा क्षेत्र के निहारी में आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय वन महोत्सव के दौरान यह घोषणा की। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस के कार्यक्रमों में विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों की भागीदारी को देखते हुए 17 अगस्त को छुट्टी दी जाएगी। दरअसल, शिक्षा निदेशालय ने पहले प्रदेश के सभी सरकारी स्कूलों को 15 अगस्त को सामान्य रूप से खोलने के निर्देश दिए थे। इस दौरान स्कूलों में ध्वजारोहण, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम और देशभक्ति से जुड़े आयोजन किए जाने थे। साथ ही जिला, उपमंडल और तहसील स्तर पर होने वाले स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोहों में विद्यार्थियों और स्कूल स्टाफ की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश भी दिए गए थे। ऐसे में 15 अगस्त को स्कूल आने वाले विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों को राहत देते हुए सरकार ने 17 अगस्त को अवकाश घोषित किया है। यानी हिमाचल में इस साल स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मौके पर 15 अगस्त को स्कूल खुले रहे और इसके बदले 17 अगस्त को छुट्टी रहेगी। 16 अगस्त को रविवार होने के कारण स्कूलों में अब नियमित पढ़ाई 18 अगस्त से शुरू होगी। इस बार स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह को लेकर हिमाचल के सरकारी स्कूलों में विशेष व्यवस्था भी की गई थी। राज्य स्तरीय समारोह हमीरपुर के बड़सर में आयोजित हुआ, जहां मुख्यमंत्री ने तिरंगा फहराया। पहली बार प्रदेश के सरकारी स्कूलों में मुख्यमंत्री के राज्य स्तरीय संबोधन का लाइव प्रसारण भी विद्यार्थियों के लिए किया गया।

Shimla: Government schools in Himachal Pradesh will observe a holiday on August 17. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu made this announcement on August 14 during the state-level *Van Mahotsav* (Forest Festival) held at Nihari in the Ghumarwin assembly constituency of Bilaspur. The Chief Minister stated that the holiday on August 17 is being granted in recognition of the participation of students and teachers in Independence Day programs on August 15. Previously, the Directorate of Education had instructed all government schools in the state to open as usual on August 15. Schools were scheduled to conduct flag-hoisting ceremonies, cultural programs, and patriotic events on that day. Instructions were also issued to ensure the participation of students and school staff in Independence Day celebrations at the district, sub-division, and tehsil levels. Consequently, to provide relief to the students and teachers attending school on August 15, the government has declared a holiday for August 17. In effect, schools in Himachal remained open on August 15 for the occasion of Independence Day, and a holiday will be observed on August 17 in lieu of that. Since August 16 is a Sunday, regular classes in schools will now resume on August 18. Special arrangements were also made in Himachal's government schools for this year's Independence Day celebrations. The state-level function was held at Barsar in Hamirpur, where the Chief Minister hoisted the tricolor. For the first time, the Chief Minister's state-level address was also broadcast live for students in government schools across the state.
