बेकाबू होकर खाई में गिरा श्रद्धालुओं से भरा ट्रक, करीब 50 श्रद्धालु घायल

जिला ऊना के प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थल पीर निगाह के समीप मंगलवार सुबह श्रद्धालुओं से भरा एक ट्रक अनियंत्रित होकर गहरी खाई में जा गिरा। हादसे में करीब 50 श्रद्धालु घायल हो गए। घायलों में महिलाएं, पुरुष और बच्चे शामिल हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि सभी श्रद्धालु हरियाणा के करनाल जिले के इंद्री क्षेत्र के निवासी हैं। जानकारी के अनुसार श्रद्धालुओं का यह समूह दो दिन पहले पीर निगाह मंदिर में माथा टेकने और भंडारा आयोजित करने के लिए पहुंचा था। मंगलवार सुबह श्रद्धालु पीर निगाह मंदिर से माता नैना देवी के दर्शन के लिए रवाना हुए। मंदिर से करीब दो किलोमीटर दूर पहुंचते ही ट्रक अचानक अनियंत्रित हो गया और सड़क से नीचे गहरी खाई में जा गिरा। हादसे के बाद मौके पर चीख-पुकार मच गई।
हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और खाई में फंसे श्रद्धालुओं को बाहर निकालने में जुट गए। इसके बाद पुलिस और स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमें भी घटनास्थल पर पहुंचीं। राहत एवं बचाव कार्य के दौरान घायलों को एंबुलेंस के माध्यम से क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल ऊना पहुंचाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उनका उपचार शुरू किया। कई श्रद्धालुओं को गंभीर चोटें आने की सूचना है। क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल के चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डॉ. संजय मनकोटिया ने बताया कि हादसे में घायल करीब 30 श्रद्धालुओं को क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल ऊना लाया गया था। सभी का उपचार किया गया, जबकि एक बच्चे की हालत नाजुक होने के कारण प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसे पीजीआई चंडीगढ़ रेफर कर दिया गया। पुलिस ने हादसे के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी है और यह पता लगाया जा रहा है कि ट्रक चालक से वाहन किस वजह से अनियंत्रित हुआ। प्रशासन की ओर से घायलों को हरसंभव चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाई जा रही है।
Truck Carrying Pilgrims Plunges into Gorge After Losing Control; Around 50 Injured

On Tuesday morning, a truck packed with pilgrims lost control and plunged into a deep gorge near the famous religious site of Peer Nigah in Una district. Approximately 50 pilgrims were injured in the accident; the injured include men, women, and children. Reports indicate that all the pilgrims were residents of the Indri area in Haryana's Karnal district. According to available information, the group had arrived two days earlier to offer prayers and organize a *bhandara* (community feast) at the Peer Nigah temple. On Tuesday morning, they set out from Peer Nigah to visit the Mata Naina Devi temple. About two kilometers into the journey, the truck suddenly went out of control and fell off the road into the deep gorge. Chaos and cries for help erupted at the scene immediately following the accident.
Upon receiving news of the incident, locals rushed to the spot and began the task of rescuing the pilgrims trapped in the gorge. Subsequently, police and health department teams also arrived at the scene. During the rescue operation, the injured were transported via ambulance to the Regional Hospital in Una, where medical treatment commenced. Several pilgrims are reported to have sustained serious injuries. Dr. Sanjay Mankotia, Medical Superintendent of the Regional Hospital, stated that around 30 injured pilgrims were brought to the facility. All received treatment; however, one child, whose condition was critical, was referred to PGI Chandigarh after receiving initial care. The police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident to determine why the driver lost control of the vehicle. The administration is ensuring that all possible medical care is provided to the injured.
