देहरादून में घर लौटते समय नाले में गिरा युवक, देर रात मिला शव

राजधानी देहरादून के माजरा क्षेत्र में शुक्रवार देर रात एक दर्दनाक हादसे में 21 वर्षीय युवक की नाले में गिरने से मौत हो गई। युवक काम से घर लौट रहा था, लेकिन देर रात तक घर नहीं पहुंचने पर परिजनों की चिंता बढ़ गई। सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर नाले से युवक का शव बाहर निकाला। मृतक की पहचान अमित सेमवाल (21 वर्ष) निवासी माजरा, पटेलनगर के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस के अनुसार अमित सेंट ज्यूड्स स्कूल की कैंटीन में कार्यरत था। शुक्रवार शाम करीब सात बजे वह कैंटीन से पैदल घर के लिए निकला था, लेकिन देर रात तक घर नहीं पहुंचा। रात करीब 12:45 बजे पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि सड़क किनारे स्थित नाले में एक युवक फंसा हुआ है। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और स्थानीय टीम मौके पर पहुंची तथा काफी मशक्कत के बाद युवक को नाले से बाहर निकाला गया। हालांकि तब तक उसकी मौत हो चुकी थी। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया और आवश्यक साक्ष्य जुटाने शुरू कर दिए हैं। प्रारंभिक जांच में आशंका जताई जा रही है कि अमित अंधेरे या फिसलन के कारण नाले में गिर गया, जहां तेज बहाव में बहने अथवा डूबने से उसकी मौत हो गई। फिलहाल पुलिस सभी संभावित पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है और हादसे के वास्तविक कारणों का पता लगाने के लिए आसपास के साक्ष्य एवं अन्य जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है।
Youth Falls into Drain While Returning Home in Dehradun; Body Recovered Late at Night

In a tragic incident late Friday night, a 21-year-old youth died after falling into a drain in the Majra area of the capital, Dehradun. The young man was returning home from work; when he failed to arrive by late night, his family grew concerned. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and retrieved the youth's body from the drain. The deceased has been identified as Amit Semwal (21), a resident of Majra, Patel Nagar. According to the police, Amit worked at the St. Jude's School canteen. He had set out for home on foot from the canteen around 7:00 PM on Friday but did not reach home. Around 12:45 AM, the police received information that a youth was trapped in a roadside drain. Police and a local team immediately rushed to the spot and, after considerable effort, managed to pull the youth out of the drain. However, he had already passed away. The police have taken the body into custody, sent it for a post-mortem examination, and begun gathering necessary evidence. Preliminary investigations suggest that Amit may have fallen into the drain due to darkness or slippery conditions, where he died either by drowning or being swept away by the strong current. The police are currently investigating all possible angles and are collecting evidence and other information from the vicinity to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
