पांगी छात्र संघ ने मुख्यमंत्री को भेजा मांगपत्र, कडू नाला हादसे की उच्चस्तरीय जांच की मांग

कुल्लू: पांगी छात्र संघ कुल्लू ने शुक्रवार को अतिरिक्त जिला दंडाधिकारी सुरजीत सिंह राठौर के माध्यम से मुख्यमंत्री को मांगपत्र सौंपकर पांगी घाटी से जुड़ी कई महत्वपूर्ण समस्याओं के समाधान की मांग की। मांगपत्र में हाल ही में कडू नाला में हुए भीषण सड़क हादसे, जिसमें 13 लोगों की जान गई थी, की उच्चस्तरीय जांच कराने की मांग प्रमुख रूप से उठाई गई। छात्र संघ का कहना है कि हादसे के कारणों की निष्पक्ष जांच कर जिम्मेदारों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति रोकी जा सके। छात्र संघ ने सिविल अस्पताल किलाड़ में नई अल्ट्रासाउंड मशीन उपलब्ध कराने और रेडियोलॉजिस्ट के रिक्त पद को शीघ्र भरने की मांग भी की। संघ के अनुसार अस्पताल में लगी अल्ट्रासाउंड मशीन कई दशक पुरानी हो चुकी है और आधुनिक तकनीक के अनुरूप कार्य नहीं कर पा रही है। इसके चलते मरीजों को आवश्यक जांच सुविधाएं नहीं मिल रही हैं, जिससे क्षेत्र के लोगों को भारी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। पांगी छात्र संघ के अध्यक्ष अनिल ठाकुर और उपाध्यक्ष कविता ने बताया कि अल्ट्रासाउंड सुविधा के अभाव में गर्भवती महिलाओं को जांच और प्रसव के लिए कुल्लू, चंबा और धर्मशाला जैसे दूरस्थ शहरों का रुख करना पड़ता है। कई महिलाओं को प्रसव तक किराये के कमरों में रहना पड़ता है, जिससे उन पर आर्थिक बोझ बढ़ने के साथ-साथ मानसिक तनाव भी पड़ता है। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं को मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। इसके अलावा छात्र संघ ने पांगी महाविद्यालय में लंबे समय से रिक्त पड़े प्राध्यापकों के पदों को भरने की भी मांग उठाई। संघ का कहना है कि शिक्षकों की कमी के कारण विद्यार्थियों की पढ़ाई प्रभावित हो रही है और उच्च शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता पर असर पड़ रहा है। इस दौरान रुद्ध राणा, शुभम, पूजा, रोहित, विनय सहित छात्र संघ के अन्य सदस्य भी मौजूद रहे।
Pangi Student Union Submits Memorandum to Chief Minister; Demands High-Level Probe into Kadu Nala Accident

Kullu: The Pangi Student Union (Kullu) submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister on Friday through Additional District Magistrate Surjit Singh Rathore, demanding solutions to several critical issues concerning the Pangi Valley. A key demand in the memorandum was for a high-level inquiry into the recent severe road accident at Kadu Nala, which claimed 13 lives. The student union asserts that an impartial investigation into the causes of the accident must be conducted and action taken against those responsible to prevent such incidents in the future. The union also demanded the provision of a new ultrasound machine at the Civil Hospital in Killar and the immediate filling of the vacant radiologist post. According to the union, the hospital's existing ultrasound machine is decades old and fails to function according to modern technological standards. Consequently, patients are deprived of essential diagnostic facilities, causing immense hardship to the local population. Pangi Student Union President Anil Thakur and Vice President Kavita stated that due to the lack of ultrasound facilities, pregnant women are forced to travel to distant cities like Kullu, Chamba, and Dharamshala for check-ups and delivery. Many women have to stay in rented accommodation until childbirth, which increases both their financial burden and mental stress. They emphasized the need to strengthen healthcare facilities. Additionally, the student union demanded the filling of long-vacant faculty positions at Pangi College. The union stated that the shortage of teachers is disrupting students' studies and affecting the quality of higher education. Other members of the student union, including Ruddh Rana, Shubham, Pooja, Rohit, and Vinay, were also present on the occasion.
