कसोल के इको-सेंसिटिव जंगल में कचरा डंप करने का मामला

हिमाचल प्रदेश के पर्यटन स्थल कसोल के इको-सेंसिटिव फॉरेस्ट क्षेत्र में कचरा डंप किए जाने का मामला सामने आया है। अधिकारियों ने नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल (NGT) के सामने स्वीकार किया कि इस क्षेत्र का इस्तेमाल मनाली के कचरे को रखने के लिए किया गया था। मामले के सामने आने के बाद पर्यावरण संरक्षण को लेकर सवाल उठने लगे हैं। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, पर्यटन सीजन के दौरान मनाली और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में बड़ी मात्रा में कचरा निकलता है। इसके प्रबंधन के लिए कसोल के संवेदनशील वन क्षेत्र में कचरा रखने की व्यवस्था किए जाने की बात सामने आई है। हालांकि, पर्यावरण-संवेदनशील क्षेत्र में कचरा जमा करना चिंता का विषय माना जा रहा है। NGT के समक्ष मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान अधिकारियों से कचरा प्रबंधन की स्थिति और अब तक की गई कार्रवाई के बारे में जानकारी मांगी गई। इस दौरान प्रशासन की ओर से क्षेत्र में कचरा रखे जाने की बात स्वीकार की गई। मामले में पर्यावरणीय नियमों के पालन को लेकर भी सवाल उठे हैं। कसोल हिमाचल के प्रमुख पर्यटन क्षेत्रों में शामिल है और यहां हर साल बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक पहुंचते हैं। ऐसे में कचरे के उचित निपटारे की व्यवस्था करना जरूरी है। पर्यावरण को नुकसान से बचाने के लिए प्रशासन को संवेदनशील वन क्षेत्रों से कचरा हटाने और वैज्ञानिक तरीके से इसके निपटारे की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करनी होगी।

During the NGT hearing, officials were asked for details regarding the waste management situation and the actions taken so far. The administration acknowledged that waste was being stored in the area. Questions have also been raised regarding compliance with environmental regulations. Kasol is a major tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh, attracting a large number of visitors annually; therefore, proper waste disposal arrangements are essential. To prevent environmental damage, the administration must ensure the removal of waste from sensitive forest areas and implement scientific disposal methods.
