कानपुर। गोविंदपुरी रेलवे स्टेशन पर RPF ने चेकिंग के दौरान दो संदिग्ध यात्रियों को पकड़कर उनके बैग की तलाशी ली। बैग खुलते ही उसमें रखा सामान देखकर सुरक्षाकर्मी भी हैरान रह गए। जांच में बैग से बड़ी मात्रा में सोना बरामद हुआ, जिसके बाद दोनों यात्रियों को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ शुरू की गई। RPF की टीम को यात्रियों की गतिविधियां संदिग्ध लगी थीं। इसके बाद उनके सामान की जांच की गई। बैग से बरामद सोने की कीमत लाखों रुपये में बताई जा रही है। प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया कि आरोपी सोने को लेकर बिहार की ओर जा रहे थे। RPF ने बरामद सोना जब्त कर मामले की सूचना संबंधित अधिकारियों को दी। पूछताछ में सोने की तस्करी से जुड़े नेटवर्क का पता लगाने की कोशिश की जा रही है। अधिकारियों के अनुसार बरामद सोने के स्रोत और इसे कहां पहुंचाया जाना था, इसकी जांच की जा रही है। RPF की इस कार्रवाई के बाद रेलवे स्टेशन पर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और चेकिंग को और सख्त कर दिया गया है।

A large quantity of gold was recovered during the search, leading to the detention and interrogation of both passengers. The RPF team had found the passengers' behavior suspicious, prompting the inspection of their luggage. The value of the recovered gold is estimated to be in the lakhs of rupees. Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused were transporting the gold towards Bihar. The RPF seized the gold and informed the relevant authorities. Interrogation is underway to uncover the network involved in the gold smuggling. Officials are investigating the source of the gold and its intended destination. Following this RPF operation, security measures and inspection protocols at the railway station have been further tightened.
