हिमाचल में IAS-IPS अफसरों की संख्या घटाने पर सुक्खू सरकार का फैसला, जयराम ठाकुर ने उठाए सवाल

शिमला। हिमाचल प्रदेश में भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (IAS), भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (IPS) और भारतीय वन सेवा (IFS) के अधिकारियों की संख्या कम करने को लेकर सियासत तेज हो गई है। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने प्रदेश में इन सेवाओं के स्वीकृत पदों की संख्या घटाने की बात कही है। सरकार का तर्क है कि अधिकारियों की संख्या कम करने से प्रशासनिक खर्च में कमी आएगी और संसाधनों का बेहतर इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा। सरकार के मुताबिक हिमाचल में IAS के स्वीकृत पदों को 153 से घटाकर 130 और IFS के पदों को 118 से घटाकर 83 करने का फैसला लिया गया है। IPS कैडर में भी कमी की जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री का कहना है कि प्रदेश में प्रशासनिक कामकाज चलाने के लिए मौजूदा संख्या से कम अधिकारियों की जरूरत है। इस कदम से सरकार को हर साल करीब 200 करोड़ रुपये की बचत होने का अनुमान है। वहीं, नेता प्रतिपक्ष जयराम ठाकुर ने सरकार के इस फैसले पर सवाल उठाए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि अधिकारियों की संख्या कम करने से प्रदेश के प्रशासनिक कामकाज और विकास कार्यों पर असर पड़ सकता है। सरकार और विपक्ष के बीच इस मुद्दे को लेकर आने वाले दिनों में बहस और तेज होने की संभावना है।
