ग्राम पंचायत गोरखूवाला के छह निर्वाचित वार्ड सदस्यों ने पंचायत प्रधान सुरेखा चौधरी के खिलाफ कथित तौर पर बदतमीजी करने और पंचायत बैठक से बाहर निकालने का आरोप लगाते हुए उच्च अधिकारियों को शिकायत भेजी है। सदस्यों ने मामले की जांच करवाकर आवश्यक कार्रवाई की मांग की है। शिकायत में वार्ड सदस्यों ने बताया कि 9 सितंबर को ग्राम पंचायत भवन में प्रधान व सचिव की ओर से महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा कंपनी के प्रचार को लेकर बैठक आयोजित की गई थी। इसमें पंचायत के निर्वाचित सदस्य उपस्थित रहे और उनकी उपस्थिति पंचायत रजिस्टर में दर्ज होने का दावा किया गया है। सदस्यों के अनुसार कंपनी के प्रचार कार्यक्रम के समापन के बाद उन्होंने प्रधान से वार्डवार धनराशि के आवंटन और पंचायत में उपलब्ध बजट की जानकारी मांगी। आरोप है कि इस दौरान प्रधान ने सदस्यों के साथ कथित तौर पर बदतमीजी की और उन्हें सभागार से बाहर जाने के लिए कहा। शिकायतकर्ताओं का आरोप है कि प्रधान ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि वे भविष्य में पंचायत की बैठकों में पेश नहीं होंगे और पंचायत के बजट से संबंधित किसी प्रकार की जानकारी नहीं मांग सकते। शिकायत में कहा गया है कि प्रधान का यह व्यवहार निर्वाचित पंचायत सदस्यों को अपमानित करने वाला है। सदस्यों ने दावा किया कि पूरी घटना के दौरान बीडीसी सदस्य कृष्णा राय भी मौके पर मौजूद थे।शिकायतकर्ताओं ठाकुर दास, रजनीश बंसल, मीरा देवी, देवेंद्र सिंह, जगदीश और आशा देवी ने प्रशासन से मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच करवाकर पंचायत प्रधान के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

Six elected ward members of the Gorkhuwala Gram Panchayat have lodged a complaint with higher authorities against Panchayat Pradhan Surekha Chaudhary, alleging rude behavior and their forced ejection from a Panchayat meeting. The members have demanded an investigation into the matter and appropriate action. In the complaint, the ward members stated that a meeting regarding a promotional event for Mahindra & Mahindra was organized by the Pradhan and the Secretary at the Gram Panchayat building on September 9. Elected Panchayat members attended the meeting, and their presence was reportedly recorded in the Panchayat register. According to the members, after the conclusion of the company's promotional event, they asked the Pradhan for details regarding the ward-wise allocation of funds and the available Panchayat budget. It is alleged that the Pradhan behaved rudely towards the members and ordered them to leave the meeting hall. The complainants allege that the Pradhan warned them that they would not be allowed to attend future Panchayat meetings or seek any information regarding the Panchayat's budget. The complaint states that the Pradhan's behavior was humiliating for the elected Panchayat members. The members claimed that BDC member Krishna Rai was also present at the scene during the incident. The complainants—Thakur Das, Rajnish Bansal, Meera Devi, Devendra Singh, Jagdish, and Asha Devi—have demanded that the administration conduct an impartial inquiry and take action against the Panchayat Pradhan in accordance with the rules.
