धर्मपुर में आवारा कुत्ते का आतंक, दो दिन में 13 लोगों पर हमला

मंडी जिले के धर्मपुर बाजार और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में एक आवारा कुत्ते के आतंक से लोगों में दहशत का माहौल है। कुत्ते ने सोमवार को करीब 10 लोगों और मंगलवार को तीन लोगों पर हमला कर उन्हें घायल कर दिया। सभी घायलों को उपचार के लिए नागरिक अस्पताल धर्मपुर पहुंचाया गया। इनमें से दो घायलों की हालत को देखते हुए चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें अन्य अस्पताल के लिए रेफर किया, जबकि बाकी लोगों को प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद घर भेज दिया गया। लोगों की सुरक्षा को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने कुत्ते को पकड़ने के लिए रेस्क्यू अभियान तेज कर दिया है। एसडीएम जोगिंदर पटियाल के नेतृत्व में पुलिस, फायर ब्रिगेड और नगर पंचायत धर्मपुर की टीमें कुत्ते की तलाश में जुटी हैं। टीमों ने बाजार और आसपास के संभावित स्थानों पर कुत्ते की तलाश की, लेकिन मंगलवार तक उसे पकड़ने में सफलता नहीं मिल पाई थी। एसडीएम ने लोगों से सतर्क रहने और कुत्ते को दिखाई देने पर उसके पास न जाने की अपील की है। प्रशासन का कहना है कि कुत्ते को जल्द पकड़कर लोगों को राहत दिलाई जाएगी।

Panic has gripped the residents of Dharampur market and surrounding areas in Mandi district due to a stray dog running amok. The dog attacked and injured approximately 10 people on Monday and three more on Tuesday. All the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital in Dharampur for treatment. Doctors referred two of the injured to another hospital due to the severity of their condition, while the others were discharged after receiving first aid. In the interest of public safety, the administration has intensified efforts to capture the dog. Teams comprising the police, fire brigade, and the Dharampur Nagar Panchayat, led by SDM Joginder Patial, are actively searching for the animal. Although the teams scoured the market and likely locations nearby, they had not succeeded in capturing the dog as of Tuesday. The SDM has urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid approaching the dog if spotted. The administration has assured that the dog will be captured soon to bring relief to the residents.
