पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए कार्यरत संस्था हिलिंग पृथ्वी की ओर से चलाया गया ‘एक पेड़ अपनाएं, एक पेड़ बचाएं, वृक्ष संरक्षक बनें’ अभियान-2026 भगानी स्थित श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी राजकीय उत्कृष्ट वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय में अंतिम पौधारोपण के साथ संपन्न हुआ। अभियान के दौरान कुल 135 पौधे अपनाए यानी गोद लिए गए, जिनकी देखभाल एवं सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी विभिन्न प्रतिभागियों और संस्थानों ने ली है। अभियान में विद्यालय एवं महाविद्यालयों के विद्यार्थियों, राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के स्वयंसेवकों, वृद्धाश्रम के वरिष्ठ नागरिकों सहित विभिन्न संस्थानों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। संस्था की सचिव स्मृति वर्मा ने बताया कि अभियान का उद्देश्य केवल पौधे लगाना नहीं, बल्कि लोगों को उनकी नियमित देखभाल और उन्हें जीवित रखने की जिम्मेदारी से जोड़ना है। उन्होंने कहा कि पौधारोपण केवल शुरुआत है, जबकि पौधे को जीवित रखना वास्तविक पर्यावरण संरक्षण है। अंतिम पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय की उपप्रधानाचार्या अनीता ठाकुर, अंग्रेजी प्रवक्ता एवं इको क्लब प्रभारी जतिंदर कौर कोहली तथा निशा शर्मा का विशेष सहयोग रहा। अभियान में जीएनएमपीएस पांवटा साहिब, श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी राजकीय महाविद्यालय पांवटा साहिब, पीएम श्री जीएमजीएसएस पांवटा साहिब, कल्याण मिलन वृद्ध आश्रम, हिमाचल पर्यटन होटल यमुना, एम्बेसडर बिल्डिंग सॉल्यूशंस प्राइवेट लिमिटेड जामनीवाला तथा भगानी स्कूल सहित विभिन्न संस्थाएं सहभागी रहीं। अभियान के अगले चरण में पौधे अपनाने वाले प्रतिभागियों को वृक्ष अपनाने का प्रमाण-पत्र दिया जाएगा। इसके बाद कम से कम छह माह तक पौधे की देखभाल कर उसकी यात्रा और तस्वीरें साझा करने वाले प्रतिभागी वृक्ष संरक्षक बनने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ेंगे और उन्हें वृक्ष संरक्षक प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा। संस्था की अध्यक्ष नरिंदर कौर सैनी ने अभियान की सफलता पर सभी सहयोगियों का आभार जताते हुए कहा कि यह केवल पौधारोपण नहीं, बल्कि लोगों को प्रकृति के प्रति जिम्मेदारी से जोड़ने की सामूहिक पहल है। उन्होंने कहा कि पृथ्वी की देखभाल किसी एक व्यक्ति या संस्था की नहीं, बल्कि सभी की साझा जिम्मेदारी है।
Campaign Concludes at Bhagani School with Final Tree Planting; 135 Saplings Adopted for Care

The 'Adopt a Tree, Save a Tree, Become a Tree Guardian' Campaign-2026, organized by the environmental conservation organization 'Healing Prithvi', concluded with a final tree-planting event at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Government Model Senior Secondary School, Bhagani. A total of 135 saplings were adopted during the campaign, with various participants and institutions taking responsibility for their care and protection. Students from schools and colleges, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, senior citizens from old-age homes, and representatives from various institutions participated enthusiastically. Smriti Verma, the organization's secretary, stated that the campaign's objective was not merely to plant saplings but to engage people in the responsibility of nurturing them and ensuring their survival. She emphasized that planting is just the beginning, whereas keeping the plant alive constitutes true environmental conservation. The final planting event saw special contributions from the school's Vice-Principal Anita Thakur, English Lecturer and Eco-Club In-charge Jatinder Kaur Kohli, and Nisha Sharma. Participating institutions included GNMPS Paonta Sahib, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Government College Paonta Sahib, PM SHRI GMGSS Paonta Sahib, Kalyan Milan Old Age Home, Himachal Tourism Hotel Yamuna, Ambassador Building Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Jamniwala), and Bhagani School. In the next phase of the campaign, participants who adopted saplings will receive an adoption certificate. Subsequently, participants who care for the saplings for at least six months and share updates and photographs of their growth journey will progress toward becoming 'Tree Guardians' and will be awarded a Tree Guardian certificate. Narinder Kaur Saini, the organization's president, expressed gratitude to all collaborators for the campaign's success, noting that this initiative goes beyond mere tree planting; it is a collective effort to foster a sense of responsibility towards nature among the public. She remarked that caring for the Earth is a shared responsibility, not the task of any single individual or organization.
