बिजली बोर्ड पेंशनरों का सरकार पर अनदेखी का आरोप

बिजली बोर्ड के सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों ने प्रदेश सरकार और बिजली बोर्ड पर पेंशनरों की मांगों की अनदेखी करने का आरोप लगाया है। नाहन में बिजली बोर्ड पेंशनर्स वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन के बैनर तले बैठक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें पेंशनरों की विभिन्न समस्याओं और लंबित वित्तीय लाभों को लेकर चर्चा की गई। पेंशनरों ने सरकार से मांग की कि उन्हें अलग-अलग श्रेणियों में बांटने के बजाय सभी को एक समान वित्तीय लाभ दिए जाएं। एसोसिएशन के महासचिव कमलेश पूंजी ने कहा कि सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को अलग-अलग श्रेणियों में विभाजित कर वित्तीय लाभ दिए जा रहे हैं, जो न्यायसंगत नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी पेंशनरों को समान आधार पर वित्तीय लाभ मिलना चाहिए। इसके साथ ही लंबे समय से लंबित डीए का भुगतान भी जल्द करने की मांग उठाई गई। पेंशनरों ने विधवा महिलाओं के लंबित वित्तीय लाभों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर जारी करने की मांग की। एसोसिएशन ने करीब 17 प्रतिशत लंबित डीए का भुगतान जल्द करने की बात भी उठाई। पेंशनरों का कहना है कि लंबे समय से वित्तीय लाभ लंबित होने के कारण उन्हें आर्थिक परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। एसोसिएशन ने आरोप लगाया कि बिजली बोर्ड के सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों के साथ ओपीएस को लेकर सौतेला व्यवहार किया जा रहा है। पेंशनरों ने सरकार से मांग की कि उन्हें भी ओपीएस का लाभ दिया जाए और उनकी लंबित मांगों का जल्द समाधान किया जाए।

Retired employees of the Electricity Board have accused the state government and the Electricity Board of ignoring the demands of pensioners. A meeting was held in Nahan under the banner of the Electricity Board Pensioners Welfare Association to discuss various issues faced by pensioners and their pending financial benefits. The pensioners demanded that, instead of being categorized into different groups, all of them should receive uniform financial benefits. Association General Secretary Kamlesh Punji stated that the practice of granting financial benefits based on different categories of retired employees is unjust; he asserted that all pensioners should receive benefits on an equal footing. Additionally, a demand was raised for the immediate payment of long-pending Dearness Allowance (DA). The pensioners also urged the authorities to release the pending financial benefits of widows on a priority basis. The Association further called for the early payment of the approximately 17 percent outstanding DA. Pensioners stated that they are facing financial hardships due to the prolonged delay in receiving these benefits. The Association alleged discriminatory treatment regarding the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) towards retired Electricity Board employees. They demanded that the government extend the benefits of the OPS to them and promptly resolve their pending demands.
