जिला सिरमौर के पुलिस थाना राजगढ़ की टीम ने गश्त के दौरान गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए एक कार से 36 बोतल अंग्रेजी शराब बरामद की है। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर आगामी जांच शुरू कर दी है। जानकारी के अनुसार पुलिस टीम ने यशवंतनगर बाजार में अशोक ढाबा के समीप राजगढ़-सोलन मुख्य सड़क पर गिरिपुल की ओर से आ रही एक अल्टो कार (HP71A-0752) को जांच के लिए रोका। पूछताछ में चालक ने अपनी पहचान ओमप्रकाश पुत्र बलदेव सिंह निवासी गांव, डाकघर एवं तहसील नोहराधार, जिला सिरमौर के रूप में बताई। वाहन की तलाशी लेने पर पुलिस ने आरोपी के कब्जे से 750 एमएल की 36 बोतल अंग्रेजी शराब बरामद की। आरोपी शराब के संबंध में कोई वैध लाइसेंस या परमिट प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सका। इसके बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ पुलिस थाना राजगढ़ में आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया। मामले की जांच जारी है।

Acting on a tip-off during a patrol, a team from the Rajgarh Police Station in Sirmaur district seized 36 bottles of Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a car. The police have registered a case against the accused under the Excise Act and initiated an investigation. According to reports, the police team stopped an Alto car (HP71A-0752)—coming from the direction of Giripul—for inspection on the Rajgarh-Solan main road, near Ashok Dhaba in Yashwantnagar market. Upon questioning, the driver identified himself as Omprakash, son of Baldev Singh, a resident of village, post office, and tehsil Nohradhar, district Sirmaur. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of 36 bottles (750 ml each) of IMFL from the accused's possession. The accused failed to produce any valid license or permit for the liquor. Subsequently, the police registered a case against him at the Rajgarh Police Station under the Excise Act. The investigation is ongoing.
