हिमाचल प्रदेश के सोलन जिले में नशा तस्करी के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए बद्दी पुलिस ने नालागढ़ में एक ही परिवार से संबंधित करीब 2.08 करोड़ रुपये की चल और अचल संपत्ति फ्रीज की है। पुलिस थाना नालागढ़ में 12 मई 2024 को दर्ज मामले में टिक्कर पनौह निवासी गुरप्रीत सिंह उर्फ जट्टा के कब्जे से 6.68 ग्राम हेरोइन (चिट्टा) बरामद किया गया था। मामले की जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने आरोपी और उसके परिजनों की संपत्तियों की वित्तीय जांच की और संपत्ति के स्रोत तथा मामले से जुड़े वित्तीय संबंधों की पड़ताल के बाद नियमानुसार फ्रीजिंग की कार्रवाई की। पुलिस के अनुसार, अमरजीत कौर से संबंधित टाटा पंच, एक्टिवा, करीब 7.10 बिस्वा भूमि और उस पर बने दो मंजिला मकान समेत लगभग 80.07 लाख रुपये की संपत्ति फ्रीज की गई है। पुलिस का कहना है कि नशे के कारोबार से कथित तौर पर अर्जित धन से बनाई गई संपत्तियों पर आर्थिक कार्रवाई के तहत यह कदम उठाया गया है। बद्दी पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि नशा तस्करी के खिलाफ कार्रवाई के साथ-साथ अवैध गतिविधियों से जुड़ी संपत्तियों की भी जांच की जा रही है।

In a crackdown on drug trafficking in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district, the Baddi police have frozen movable and immovable assets worth approximately ₹2.08 crore belonging to a single family in Nalagarh. The action stems from a case registered at the Nalagarh police station on May 12, 2024, in which 6.68 grams of heroin ('Chitta') were recovered from the possession of Gurpreet Singh, alias Jatta, a resident of Tikkar Panauh. During the investigation, the police conducted a financial probe into the assets of the accused and his family members; the freezing action was carried out in accordance with regulations after verifying the sources of the assets and their financial links to the case. According to the police, assets worth approximately ₹80.07 lakh—registered in the name of Amarjit Kaur and including a Tata Punch vehicle, an Activa scooter, and a two-story house built on a land parcel of about 7.10 biswas—have been frozen. Officials stated that this step was taken as part of financial enforcement actions against assets allegedly acquired through proceeds from the drug trade. The Baddi police clarified that, alongside the crackdown on drug trafficking, they are also investigating assets linked to illegal activities.
