हिमाचल प्रदेश के कांगड़ा जिले के प्रसिद्ध शक्तिपीठ मां ज्वालामुखी मंदिर परिसर में खुद को आग लगाने वाले राजस्थान के 36 वर्षीय युवक की इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई। युवक को गंभीर हालत में टांडा मेडिकल कॉलेज रेफर किया गया था, जहां उसने दम तोड़ दिया। घटना के बाद मंदिर परिसर में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया। बताया जा रहा है कि युवक ने मंदिर परिसर में कथित तौर पर खुद को आग लगा ली। आग की चपेट में आने से वह करीब 70 फीसदी झुलस गया था। मौके पर मौजूद लोगों ने पानी डालकर आग बुझाई और युवक को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल पहुंचाया। उसकी गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसे टांडा मेडिकल कॉलेज रेफर किया गया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मामले की जांच शुरू की। फॉरेंसिक टीम ने भी घटनास्थल से साक्ष्य जुटाए हैं। घटना का वीडियो भी सामने आया है, जिसमें युवक आग की लपटों में घिरा दिखाई दे रहा है। पुलिस मामले के कारणों और घटना से जुड़े अन्य पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है।

A 36-year-old man from Rajasthan, who had set himself on fire within the premises of the famous Maa Jwalamukhi Temple (a *Shaktipeeth*) in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, has died while undergoing treatment. He had been referred to Tanda Medical College in critical condition, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries. The incident caused panic and chaos within the temple complex. It is reported that the man allegedly set himself ablaze inside the premises, sustaining burns over approximately 70 percent of his body. Bystanders extinguished the flames using water and rushed him to the hospital. Given his critical condition, he was referred to Tanda Medical College after receiving initial treatment. Police arrived at the scene immediately upon receiving information and have initiated an investigation; a forensic team has also collected evidence from the site. A video of the incident has surfaced, showing the man engulfed in flames. The police are investigating the reasons behind the incident and other related aspects.
