सिरमौर में मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत SIU नाहन की पुलिस टीम ने कार्रवाई करते हुए 6.21 ग्राम चिट्टा (हेरोइन) बरामद किया है। पुलिस ने इस मामले में माजरा निवासी एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस के अनुसार SIU नाहन की टीम गश्त पर केदारपुर के समीप मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान टीम को गुप्त सूचना मिली कि माजरा निवासी हामिर खान पुत्र जलालदीन उर्फ जग्गी कथित तौर पर पांवटा साहिब, माजरा और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में चिट्टा/स्मैक बेचने का काम करता है और मोटरसाइकिल नंबर HP17G-1988 पर कुंजा की ओर से माजरा की तरफ आ रहा है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस टीम ने कार्रवाई करते हुए संदिग्ध व्यक्ति को रोककर तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान उसके कब्जे से कुल 6.21 ग्राम चिट्टा (हेरोइन) बरामद हुआ। पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर उसके खिलाफ पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब में NDPS एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक मामले में आगामी जांच जारी है और बरामद मादक पदार्थ के स्रोत तथा इसकी सप्लाई से जुड़े अन्य पहलुओं की जांच की जा रही है।

As part of the ongoing campaign against drug trafficking in Sirmaur, the SIU Nahan police team has seized 6.21 grams of 'Chitta' (heroin). The police have arrested a resident of Majra in connection with this case. According to the police, the SIU Nahan team was on patrol near Kedarpoor when they received a tip-off. The information indicated that Hamir Khan (son of Jalaldeen, alias Jaggi), a resident of Majra, was allegedly involved in selling 'Chitta'/smack in Paonta Sahib, Majra, and surrounding areas, and was traveling from Kunja towards Majra on a motorcycle (HP17G-1988). Acting on this information, the police team intercepted the suspect and conducted a search. During the search, a total of 6.21 grams of 'Chitta' (heroin) was recovered from his possession. The police arrested the accused and registered a case against him at the Paonta Sahib Police Station under the NDPS Act. Further investigation is underway to determine the source of the seized contraband and other aspects related to its supply.
