पांवटा साहिब के देवीनगर स्थित शनि मंदिर के समीप मंगलवार सुबह उस समय हड़कंप मच गया, जब एक तेज रफ्तार डंपर ट्रक अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क किनारे बने मकान में जा घुसा। हादसे में मकान की दीवार और बाहरी हिस्से को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा। गनीमत रही कि घटना के समय घर के अंदर मौजूद लोग सुरक्षित बताए जा रहे हैं, जिससे बड़ा हादसा टल गया प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार ट्रक अचानक संतुलन खो बैठा और सीधे मकान से टकरा गया। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि दीवार टूट गई और आसपास अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया। घटना के बाद स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और राहत कार्य में जुट गए हादसे के कारण कुछ समय के लिए सड़क पर यातायात भी प्रभावित रहा। सूचना मिलने पर संबंधित विभाग और पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची तथा ट्रक को हटाने और स्थिति सामान्य करने की कार्रवाई शुरू की स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इस मार्ग पर भारी वाहनों की तेज रफ्तार लंबे समय से चिंता का विषय बनी हुई है। उन्होंने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि भारी वाहनों की गति पर सख्ती से नियंत्रण किया जाए और हादसों की पुनरावृत्ति रोकने के लिए आवश्यक सुरक्षा उपाय किए जाएं।

The accident caused extensive damage to the house's wall and exterior. Fortunately, the occupants inside the house were reported safe, averting a major tragedy. According to eyewitnesses, the truck suddenly lost balance and rammed directly into the house. The impact was so severe that the wall collapsed, creating a chaotic scene in the vicinity. Locals rushed to the site and assisted with relief efforts; traffic on the road was also disrupted for a while due to the accident. Upon receiving the information, the concerned department and a police team arrived at the scene and initiated measures to remove the truck and restore normalcy. Residents state that the high speed of heavy vehicles on this route has long been a cause for concern. They have urged the administration to strictly regulate the speed of heavy vehicles and implement necessary safety measures to prevent such accidents from recurring.
