राजकीय महाविद्यालय रोनहाट की महिला विकास प्रकोष्ठ द्वारा राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई के सहयोग से छात्राओं के लिए निःशुल्क सैनिटरी पैड वितरण एवं मासिक धर्म स्वास्थ्य एवं स्वच्छता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को मासिक धर्म के दौरान स्वच्छता, स्वास्थ्य एवं व्यक्तिगत देखभाल के प्रति जागरूक करना तथा संबंधित विषयों पर खुलकर संवाद के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना रहा। कार्यक्रम में जिला परिषद रास्त वार्ड की सदस्या सुनीता पोज्टा ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत की। ग्राम पंचायत रास्त की प्रधान उमा देवी तथा पिंकी रमौल विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहीं। कार्यक्रम में महाविद्यालय के अभिभावक-शिक्षक संघ के सदस्यों ने भी सहभागिता की। महाविद्यालय के कार्यवाहक प्राचार्य डॉ. नलिन रमौल ने स्टाफ सदस्यों के सहयोग से कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। सहायक आचार्य मंजना शर्मा ने अतिथियों का स्वागत किया तथा मंच संचालन किया। कार्यक्रम के आयोजन में कनिष्ठ कार्यालय सहायक अनिल कुमार ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
मुख्य वक्ता सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी शमा ने विद्यार्थियों को मासिक धर्म स्वास्थ्य एवं स्वच्छता से जुड़े विभिन्न पहलुओं की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने मासिक धर्म के दौरान स्वच्छता बनाए रखने, सैनिटरी पैड के उचित उपयोग एवं निस्तारण तथा स्वास्थ्य संबंधी आवश्यक सावधानियों के बारे में जागरूक किया। सहायक आचार्य बंदना अत्री ने छात्राओं के साथ संवाद करते हुए उन्हें अपने प्रश्न, अनुभव एवं जिज्ञासाएं खुलकर साझा करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता करते हुए विभिन्न विषयों पर प्रश्न पूछे। संवादात्मक वातावरण के कारण यह सत्र प्रभावी एवं ज्ञानवर्धक रहा। कार्यक्रम के दौरान महाविद्यालय निधि से छात्राओं को निःशुल्क सैनिटरी पैड वितरित किए गए। इस पहल के माध्यम से छात्राओं को आवश्यक स्वच्छता सामग्री उपलब्ध करवाने के साथ-साथ उनके स्वास्थ्य एवं गरिमा के प्रति महाविद्यालय की प्रतिबद्धता भी सामने आई। कार्यक्रम के अंत में सहायक आचार्य कृतिका सैनी ने सभी अतिथियों, स्वास्थ्य विभाग की प्रतिनिधि, अभिभावक-शिक्षक संघ के सदस्यों, स्टाफ एवं विद्यार्थियों का आभार व्यक्त किया। कार्यक्रम का समापन सकारात्मक एवं उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरण में हुआ।

The Women's Development Cell of Government College, Ronhat, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, organized a program to distribute free sanitary pads to female students and raise awareness about menstrual health and hygiene. The objective of the program was to educate students about hygiene, health, and personal care during menstruation and to encourage open dialogue on these topics. Sunita Pojta, a member of the Zila Parishad (Rast Ward), attended the event as the chief guest. Uma Devi, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Rast, and Pinky Ramaul were present as special guests. Members of the college's Parent-Teacher Association also participated in the event. Officiating Principal Dr. Nalin Ramaul inaugurated the program with the support of the staff. Assistant Professor Manjana Sharma welcomed the guests and conducted the proceedings. Junior Office Assistant Anil Kumar played a key role in organizing the event.
The keynote speaker, Community Health Officer Shama, provided the students with information on various aspects of menstrual health and hygiene. She raised awareness about maintaining hygiene during menstruation, the proper use and disposal of sanitary pads, and necessary health precautions. Assistant Professor Vandana Atri interacted with the students, encouraging them to openly share their questions, experiences, and curiosities. The students participated enthusiastically and asked questions on various topics. The interactive atmosphere made the session effective and informative. During the program, free sanitary pads were distributed to the students using college funds. Through this initiative, the college demonstrated its commitment to the health and dignity of the female students by providing them with essential hygiene supplies. At the conclusion of the program, Assistant Professor Kritika Saini expressed gratitude to all the guests, the Health Department representative, Parent-Teacher Association members, staff, and students. The event concluded in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere.
