पांवटा साहिब के सिविल अस्पताल में डॉक्टरों की कमी को दूर करने की दिशा में सरकार ने महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाया है। प्रदेश के विभिन्न सरकारी अस्पतालों में 193 चिकित्सकों की तैनाती के आदेश जारी किए गए हैं। इनमें सिरमौर जिले के सिविल अस्पताल पांवटा साहिब को पांच विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर मिले हैं। इन डॉक्टरों में डॉ. अनुराधा चौधरी को रेडियो डायग्नोसिस विशेषज्ञ के तौर पर तैनाती मिली है। डॉ. अनुराधा चौधरी पूर्व मंत्री सुखराम चौधरी की बेटी हैं। उनके अलावा अस्पताल में डॉ. सक्षम कौशल को बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ, डॉ. संजय कुमार गुर्जर को त्वचा रोग विशेषज्ञ, डॉ. रुचि को प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ तथा डॉ. सिद्धार्थ कालिया को फोरेंसिक मेडिसिन विशेषज्ञ के रूप में तैनाती दी गई है। अस्पताल में लंबे समय से बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ का पद खाली था। वहीं, फोरेंसिक मेडिसिन विशेषज्ञ की तैनाती से मेडिको-लीगल और पोस्टमार्टम से जुड़े मामलों में भी सुविधा मिलने की उम्मीद है। इन विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों की तैनाती से पांवटा साहिब और आसपास के क्षेत्रों के मरीजों को स्थानीय स्तर पर विशेषज्ञ स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं मिलने की उम्मीद है। सभी डॉक्टरों के जल्द कार्यभार संभालने की संभावना है।

The government has taken a significant step to address the shortage of doctors at the Civil Hospital in Paonta Sahib. Orders have been issued for the posting of 193 doctors across various government hospitals in the state. As part of this initiative, the Civil Hospital in Paonta Sahib (Sirmaur district) has received five specialist doctors. Among them, Dr. Anuradha Chaudhary has been appointed as a Radio-diagnosis specialist; she is the daughter of former minister Sukhram Chaudhary. Additionally, Dr. Saksham Kaushal has been appointed as a Pediatrician, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gurjar as a Dermatologist, Dr. Ruchi as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, and Dr. Siddharth Kalia as a Forensic Medicine specialist. The position of Pediatrician had been vacant at the hospital for a long time. Meanwhile, the appointment of a Forensic Medicine specialist is expected to facilitate the handling of medico-legal cases and post-mortems. These appointments are expected to provide patients from Paonta Sahib and surrounding areas with access to specialized healthcare services locally. All the doctors are likely to assume their duties soon.
