औद्योगिक क्षेत्र बद्दी स्थित विनटेक पैकेजिंग कंपनी में सोमवार शाम अचानक भीषण आग लग गई। आग लगने के बाद कंपनी परिसर में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। घटना के समय कंपनी में 100 से अधिक कामगार मौजूद थे, जिन्हें सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया गया। राहत की बात यह रही कि हादसे में किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है। आग की सूचना मिलते ही दमकल विभाग की टीमें मौके पर पहुंचीं। आग की भयावहता को देखते हुए करीब सात फायर टेंडरों को आग बुझाने के काम में लगाया गया। दमकल कर्मियों ने काफी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाने का प्रयास किया और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में आग फैलने से रोकने के लिए भी कदम उठाए। आग लगने के कारणों का फिलहाल पता नहीं चल पाया है। कंपनी में रखी पैकेजिंग सामग्री के कारण आग तेजी से फैलने की बात सामने आई है। घटना के बाद पुलिस और प्रशासन की टीमों ने भी मौके का जायजा लिया तथा मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। हादसे के बाद कंपनी परिसर में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर भी जांच की जा रही है। आग से कंपनी को कितना नुकसान हुआ है, इसका आकलन किया जा रहा है। प्रशासन और दमकल विभाग की ओर से घटना के कारणों तथा नुकसान की विस्तृत जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है।

A massive fire broke out suddenly on Monday evening at Wintech Packaging Company, located in the Baddi industrial area. Panic ensued within the company premises following the outbreak. More than 100 workers present at the site at the time were safely evacuated; fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Fire department teams rushed to the scene immediately upon receiving the alert. Given the intensity of the blaze, approximately seven fire tenders were deployed to extinguish it. Firefighters worked hard to bring the fire under control and took measures to prevent it from spreading to surrounding areas. The cause of the fire is not yet known, though it is reported that the flames spread rapidly due to the packaging materials stored on the premises. Following the incident, police and administrative teams inspected the site and have initiated an investigation. An inquiry into the safety arrangements at the company premises is also underway. The extent of the damage caused to the company is currently being assessed, and authorities—along with the fire department—are gathering detailed information regarding the cause of the fire and the resulting losses.
