नाहन की पुलिस टीम ने मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के विरुद्ध कार्रवाई करते हुए 6.16 ग्राम मादक पर्दाथ हैरोईन बरामद कर 01 व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया है । पुलिस टीम गश्त के दौरान जब नाहन- कालाअम्ब दो सड़का के पास मौजूद थी तो पुलिस टीम को गुप्त सूचना मिली कि एक व्यक्ति काबल कुमार पुत्र प्रेमपाल निवासी गांव ओलीवाला कोटडी डा० व तह० नाहन जिला सिरमौर जोकि काफी समय से नाहन शहर में नशीली दवाईयां व मादक पदार्थ चिट्टा/हैरोईन बेचने का धंधा कर रहा है तथा हरियाणा से मादक पदार्थ की खेप लेकर कंगनीवाला नेचर पार्क कैफे के पास बैठा है । जिस पर पुलिस टीम ने तुरंत कार्यवाही करते हुए तलाशी के दौरान उक्त आरोपी के कब्जे से कुल 6.16 ग्राम मादक पर्दाथ हैरोईन/ चिट्टा तथा PREGABALIN CAPSULES IP कुल 300 व Tapentadol टैबलेट कुल 200 बरामद करने मे सफलता प्राप्त की है। जिस पर उक्त आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर उसके विरुद्ध पुलिस थाना नाहन में (NDPS) एक्ट के अंतर्गत मामला पंजीकृत कर मामले में आगामी अन्वेषण जारी है । आरोपी को आज दिनांक 29-09-26 को माननीय न्यायालय के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया गया, जहां से उसे 03 दिन के लिए पुलिस हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है । मामले में आगामी अन्वेषण जारी है

Acting against drug trafficking, the Nahan police team arrested one individual and seized 6.16 grams of heroin. While on patrol near the Nahan-Kala-Amb 'Do Sadka' (junction), the police team received a tip-off regarding a man named Kabal Kumar—son of Prempal and a resident of Village Oliwala, Kotdi (Post Office & Tehsil Nahan, District Sirmaur). He had allegedly been selling narcotic drugs and 'Chitta' (heroin) in Nahan town for some time and was currently waiting near the Kangniwala Nature Park Cafe with a consignment of narcotics brought from Haryana. Taking immediate action, the police team conducted a search and successfully recovered a total of 6.16 grams of heroin/Chitta, along with 300 Pregabalin capsules and 200 Tapentadol tablets, from the accused's possession. Consequently, the accused was arrested, and a case was registered against him at the Nahan Police Station under the NDPS Act; further investigation is underway. The accused was produced before the honorable court today (September 29, 2024) and has been remanded to police custody for three days. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
