जिला सिरमौर के पच्छाद उपमंडल के कहान गांव के समीप देर रात एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे में बाइक सवार 32 वर्षीय युवक की मौत हो गई। हादसा कार और मोटरसाइकिल की आमने-सामने हुई जोरदार टक्कर के कारण हुआ। मृतक की पहचान राजेश कुमार पुत्र सतपाल, निवासी गांव बनाड़ (गगल शिकोर), तहसील पच्छाद के रूप में हुई है। जानकारी के अनुसार हादसा रात करीब 10:30 बजे कहान गांव के पास हुआ। राजेश कुमार हरियाणा नंबर की मोटरसाइकिल HR 03 Z 0823 पर सवार होकर जा रहे थे। इसी दौरान सामने से आ रही कार HP 16 AA 4413 के साथ उनकी टक्कर हो गई। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि राजेश कुमार सड़क पर गिरकर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। हादसे के बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने घायल युवक को तुरंत उपचार के लिए सिविल अस्पताल सराहां पहुंचाया, लेकिन चिकित्सकों ने जांच के बाद उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। सूचना मिलते ही पच्छाद पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और दुर्घटनाग्रस्त दोनों वाहनों को कब्जे में लिया। पुलिस ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंपने की प्रक्रिया पूरी की गई। डीएसपी राजगढ़ वीसी नेगी ने हादसे की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर दुर्घटना के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

A 32-year-old motorcyclist died in a tragic road accident late at night near Kahan village in the Pachhad subdivision of Sirmaur district. The accident was caused by a violent head-on collision between a car and the motorcycle. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar, son of Satpal, a resident of Banad village (Gaggal Shikor) in Pachhad Tehsil. According to reports, the accident occurred around 10:30 PM near Kahan village. Rajesh Kumar was riding a motorcycle bearing the Haryana registration number HR 03 Z 0823 when he collided with an oncoming car (HP 16 AA 4413). The impact was so severe that Rajesh Kumar fell onto the road and sustained critical injuries. Following the accident, locals rushed the injured man to the Civil Hospital in Sarahan for treatment, but doctors declared him dead upon examination. Upon receiving the information, a Pachhad police team arrived at the scene and impounded both vehicles involved in the accident. The police sent the body for a post-mortem examination, after which the process of handing the body over to the family was completed. Confirming the incident, Rajgarh DSP VC Negi stated that the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
