उत्तराखंड में पुलिस व्यवस्था को मजबूत बनाने और पुलिसकर्मियों की सुविधाओं में सुधार के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कई महत्वपूर्ण घोषणाएं की हैं। बुधवार, 21 अक्टूबर को पुलिस स्मृति दिवस परेड के अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने पुलिस विभाग के विभिन्न विंग में खाली पड़े 1600 पदों पर जल्द भर्ती प्रक्रिया शुरू करने की घोषणा की। इसके साथ ही थानों के खर्च के लिए मिलने वाले बजट को चार करोड़ रुपये से बढ़ाकर आठ करोड़ रुपये करने की बात कही। मुख्यमंत्री ने पुलिस थानों में उपलब्ध पुलिस बल की समीक्षा करने और जरूरत के अनुसार कर्मचारियों की तैनाती करने की घोषणा भी की। इसके अलावा जांच प्रक्रिया को बेहतर बनाने के लिए विवेचकों को आधुनिक जांच किट उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी। इन फैसलों का उद्देश्य पुलिस विभाग की कार्यक्षमता बढ़ाना, जांच व्यवस्था को मजबूत करना और पुलिसकर्मियों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराना है।

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made several significant announcements aimed at strengthening the police system in Uttarakhand and improving facilities for police personnel. On Wednesday, October 21—the occasion of Police Commemoration Day—the Chief Minister announced that a recruitment process would soon begin to fill 1,600 vacant posts across various wings of the police department. Additionally, he stated that the budget allocated for the operational expenses of police stations would be doubled from ₹4 crore to ₹8 crore. The Chief Minister also announced a review of the police force strength at individual stations, with plans to deploy personnel based on actual requirements. Furthermore, to enhance the quality of investigations, modern investigative kits will be provided to investigating officers. These measures are intended to boost the efficiency of the police department, strengthen the investigative framework, and provide better facilities for police personnel.
