सोलन में आयोजित साइबर जागरूकता कार्यशाला में 70 से अधिक वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को ऑनलाइन ठगी से बचने के उपाय बताए गए। कार्यशाला के दौरान उन्हें फर्जी फोन कॉल, संदिग्ध लिंक और ऑनलाइन धोखाधड़ी के विभिन्न तरीकों के बारे में जानकारी दी गई, ताकि वे सतर्क रहकर अपनी जमा पूंजी सुरक्षित रख सकें। इस दौरान पुलिस ने वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को सलाह दी कि वे किसी भी अनजान व्यक्ति के साथ ओटीपी, बैंक खाते की जानकारी और पासवर्ड साझा न करें। किसी संदिग्ध लिंक पर क्लिक करने से भी बचें। पुलिस ने कहा कि साइबर अपराध से बचने के लिए जागरूकता और सतर्कता जरूरी है। किसी भी तरह की ऑनलाइन ठगी होने पर तुरंत साइबर हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1930 पर शिकायत दर्ज करवाएं।

At a cyber awareness workshop held in Solan, more than 70 senior citizens were provided with guidance on how to protect themselves from online fraud. During the workshop, they were educated about various tactics used by scammers—such as fraudulent phone calls, suspicious links, and other forms of online deception—to help them remain vigilant and safeguard their savings. The police advised the senior citizens never to share OTPs, bank account details, or passwords with any unknown person. They were also cautioned against clicking on suspicious links. The police emphasized that awareness and vigilance are essential for preventing cybercrime. In the event of any online fraud, individuals are urged to immediately file a complaint by calling the cyber helpline number, 1930.
