पांवटा-लालढ़ांग सड़क की खराब हालत से परेशान स्थानीय युवाओं ने सड़क के गड्ढे भरने का जिम्मा खुद उठाया। बहराल और बातामंडी क्षेत्र में सड़क पर जगह-जगह गहरे गड्ढे होने से वाहन चालकों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार सड़क की खराब स्थिति के कारण दोपहिया वाहन चालकों को विशेष रूप से दिक्कत हो रही है। गड्ढों के चलते हादसों का खतरा भी बना हुआ है। समस्या को देखते हुए युवाओं ने देर रात मिट्टी और रोड़ी डालकर कई गड्ढों को भर दिया। युवाओं का कहना है कि सड़क की मरम्मत को लेकर संबंधित विभाग से कई बार मांग की जा चुकी है, लेकिन स्थायी समाधान नहीं हो पाया है। ऐसे में उन्होंने अपनी ओर से अस्थायी तौर पर सड़क को चलने लायक बनाने का प्रयास किया। स्थानीय लोगों ने प्रशासन और संबंधित विभाग से पांवटा-लालढ़ांग सड़क की जल्द मरम्मत करवाने की मांग की है। लोगों का कहना है कि सड़क की हालत सुधरने से वाहन चालकों को राहत मिलेगी और दुर्घटनाओं का खतरा भी कम होगा।

Local youths, frustrated by the dilapidated condition of the Paonta-Laldhang road, took it upon themselves to fill the potholes. Motorists have been facing difficulties due to deep potholes scattered across the road in the Bahral and Batamandi areas. According to locals, two-wheeler riders are particularly affected by the road's poor state, and the potholes pose a constant risk of accidents. Addressing the issue, the youths filled several potholes late at night using soil and gravel. They stated that while they have repeatedly requested the concerned department to repair the road, no permanent solution has been implemented; consequently, they attempted to make the road motorable on a temporary basis. Locals have urged the administration and the concerned department to expedite repairs on the Paonta-Laldhang road, noting that improving the road's condition would provide relief to motorists and reduce the risk of accidents.
