एशियाई खेलों में स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर देश और हिमाचल प्रदेश का गौरव बढ़ाने वाली हिमाचल की कबड्डी खिलाड़ियों पुष्पा राणा, ज्योति ठाकुर और भावना ठाकुर ने मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू से मुलाकात की। मुख्यमंत्री ने तीनों खिलाड़ियों को शानदार उपलब्धि के लिए बधाई देते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने तीनों स्वर्ण पदक विजेता खिलाड़ियों को एक-एक करोड़ रुपये की सम्मान राशि देने का आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार खेल प्रतिभाओं को प्रोत्साहित करने और खिलाड़ियों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए लगातार प्रयासरत है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हिमाचल की इन बेटियों ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन कर प्रदेश का नाम रोशन किया है। उनकी सफलता प्रदेश के अन्य युवा खिलाड़ियों के लिए भी प्रेरणादायी है और इससे खेलों के प्रति युवाओं का उत्साह बढ़ेगा। उन्होंने खिलाड़ियों को भविष्य की प्रतियोगिताओं के लिए शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि सरकार प्रतिभावान खिलाड़ियों को हरसंभव सहयोग प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

Himachal's Kabaddi players—Pushpa Rana, Jyoti Thakur, and Bhavna Thakur—who brought glory to the nation and the state by winning gold medals at the Asian Games, met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The Chief Minister congratulated the three athletes on their magnificent achievement and wished them a bright future. On this occasion, he assured them that each of the three gold medalists would be awarded a cash prize of ₹1 crore. He stated that the state government is continuously striving to encourage sporting talent and provide better facilities for athletes. The Chief Minister remarked that these daughters of Himachal have brought laurels to the state through their outstanding performance at the international level. Their success serves as an inspiration for other young athletes in the state and will boost the youth's enthusiasm for sports. While extending his best wishes for future competitions, he reiterated the government's commitment to providing all possible support to talented athletes.
