जिला सिरमौर कबड्डी संघ की ओर से U-20 बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग की जिला टीमों के चयन के लिए 7 अक्तूबर को ट्रायल आयोजित किए जाएंगे। ट्रायल गुरु नानक मिशन पब्लिक स्कूल पांवटा साहिब की मेन ब्रांच में दोपहर 3 बजे शुरू होंगे। संघ ने जिले के इच्छुक खिलाड़ियों से समय पर पहुंचने की अपील की है। कबड्डी संघ के महासचिव बीर सिंह ठाकुर ने बताया कि चयन प्रक्रिया में भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों के लिए निर्धारित वजन सीमा तय की गई है। बालक वर्ग में खिलाड़ी का वजन 75 किलोग्राम और बालिका वर्ग में 65 किलोग्राम से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए। इसके अलावा खिलाड़ियों की जन्मतिथि वर्ष 2007 की होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने बताया कि ट्रायल में हिस्सा लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों को अपने साथ आधार कार्ड तथा जन्मतिथि सत्यापन के लिए दसवीं कक्षा की मार्कशीट या फॉर्म-5 लाना अनिवार्य होगा। सभी इच्छुक खिलाड़ी निर्धारित समय और स्थान पर आवश्यक दस्तावेजों के साथ उपस्थित हों। जिला सिरमौर कबड्डी संघ के अध्यक्ष कुलदीप राणा ने बताया कि इसी माह U-20 बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग की राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता आयोजित होनी है। इसी को ध्यान में रखते हुए जिला स्तर पर चयन प्रक्रिया शुरू की जा रही है, ताकि चयनित खिलाड़ियों के लिए राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता की तैयारी हेतु कोचिंग कैंप आयोजित किया जा सके।

The District Sirmaur Kabaddi Association will conduct trials on October 7 to select district-level teams for the U-20 boys' and girls' categories. The trials will commence at 3:00 PM at the main branch of Guru Nanak Mission Public School, Paonta Sahib. The Association has urged interested players from the district to arrive on time. Bir Singh Thakur, General Secretary of the Kabaddi Association, stated that specific weight limits have been set for participants: players in the boys' category must not weigh more than 75 kg, and those in the girls' category must not exceed 65 kg. Additionally, players must have been born in the year 2007. He noted that participants are required to bring their Aadhaar cards and either their Class 10 mark sheet or 'Form-5' to verify their date of birth. All interested players should report to the designated venue at the scheduled time with the necessary documents. Kuldeep Rana, President of the District Sirmaur Kabaddi Association, stated that a state-level U-20 competition for boys and girls is scheduled to take place this month. With this in mind, the district-level selection process is being initiated so that a coaching camp can be organized for the selected players to prepare for the state-level tournament.
