नशे के खिलाफ जागरूकता फैलाने और युवाओं को खेलों से जोड़ने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित जंग प्रीमियर लीग के दूसरे संस्करण का रविवार को नगर परिषद मैदान पांवटा साहिब में समापन हुआ। प्रतियोगिता में पांवटा साहिब विधानसभा क्षेत्र की 53 टीमों ने भाग लिया। फाइनल मुकाबले में राजबन की टीम ने सैंनवाला को हराकर खिताब अपने नाम किया।डे-नाइट टेनिस बॉल क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता 7 से 18 अक्तूबर तक आयोजित की गई। फाइनल मुकाबले में राजबन ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए निर्धारित 10 ओवर में 111 रन का लक्ष्य रखा। जवाब में सैंनवाला की टीम 10 ओवर में 84 रन ही बना सकी और राजबन ने ट्रॉफी पर कब्जा जमाया । विजेता राजबन टीम को एक लाख रुपये और ट्रॉफी, जबकि उपविजेता सैंनवाला की टीम को 51 हजार रुपये और ट्रॉफी देकर सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अलावा खिलाड़ियों को अन्य पुरस्कार भी प्रदान किए गए। समापन समारोह में नाहन के विधायक अजय सोलंकी मुख्य अतिथि रहे। इस दौरान पूर्व विधायक किरनेश जंग, जिला परिषद सदस्य एवं आयोजक अरिकेश जंग, पांवटा साहिब के तहसीलदार मस्त राम भारद्वाज, कांग्रेस नेता मनीष तोमर और तपेंद्र सैनी, नाहन कांग्रेस मंडल अध्यक्ष ज्ञान चौधरी तथा पार्षद रविंद्र सिंह सहित अन्य गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे। आयोजकों ने प्रतियोगिता में सभी टीमों के लिए प्रवेश निशुल्क रखा था और खिलाड़ियों को खेल किट भी उपलब्ध करवाई गई। जिला परिषद सदस्य अरिकेश जंग ने कहा कि प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं को नशे से दूर रखकर खेलों के प्रति प्रोत्साहित करना और अधिक से अधिक युवाओं की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करना है। विधायक अजय सोलंकी ने आयोजन की सराहना करते हुए युवाओं से नशे से दूर रहने और खेल गतिविधियों में बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लेने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि खेल युवाओं को सकारात्मक दिशा देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। साथ ही उन्होंने समाज में धर्म और जाति के नाम पर विभाजन से बचने तथा आपसी भाईचारे को मजबूत करने का संदेश दिया।
Paonta Sahib: Rajban defeats Sainwala by 27 runs in the final of 'Jung Premier League' Season 2; 53 teams participated in the tournament.

The second edition of the 'Jung Premier League'—organized with the aim of raising awareness against drug abuse and engaging youth in sports—concluded on Sunday at the Municipal Council Ground in Paonta Sahib. A total of 53 teams from the Paonta Sahib assembly constituency participated in the tournament. In the final match, the Rajban team defeated Sainwala to clinch the title. The day-night tennis-ball cricket tournament was held from October 7 to October 18. Batting first in the final, Rajban set a target of 111 runs in the allotted 10 overs. In response, the Sainwala team could only manage 84 runs in their 10 overs, allowing Rajban to secure the trophy. The winning team, Rajban, was awarded a cash prize of ₹1 lakh along with a trophy, while the runners-up, Sainwala, received ₹51,000 and a trophy. Additionally, various other prizes were presented to the players. Nahan MLA Ajay Solanki attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. Other notable figures present included former MLA Kirnesh Jung, Zila Parishad member and organizer Arikesh Jung, Paonta Sahib Tehsildar Mast Ram Bhardwaj, Congress leaders Manish Tomar and Tapendra Saini, Nahan Congress Mandal President Gyan Chaudhary, and Councilor Ravindra Singh. The organizers kept the entry free for all participating teams and also provided sports kits to the players. Zila Parishad member Arikesh Jung stated that the primary objective of the tournament was to encourage youth to participate in sports and steer them away from drug abuse, while ensuring the widest possible participation of young people. Praising the initiative, MLA Ajay Solanki urged the youth to stay away from drugs and take an active part in sporting activities. He stated that sports play a significant role in guiding the youth in a positive direction. He also conveyed a message to avoid divisions in society based on religion or caste, and to strengthen mutual brotherhood.
